School of Art’s Museum and Art Galleries, 3:00-3:30 pm

The School of Art is home to a museum and two art galleries that currently welcome students for virtual visits and will host in-person exhibitions and public events when campus re-opens. Join us for a virtual tour of our programs and an introduction to what the School of Art has to offer in addition to your classroom experience. The Global Museum, which cares for archaeological and cultural collections from around the world, is developing online exhibitions, educational content, and a digital collections database. The Fine Arts Gallery will be hosting a juried exhibition of undergraduate student work on the exhibition website Kunstmatrix, and continue planning for future exhibitions. Zoom-talks with contemporary artists and curators will be happening throughout the semester. The Martin Wong Gallery will be using social media to promote weekly online exhibitions of student work.
