Join Professor Jolie Goorjian of the Department of English Language and Literature & Comparative and World Literature Department on a lecture and tour of Yerba Buena Gardens (YBG), the Cultural Heart of San Francisco. First-year students will explore YBC’s gems and  learn about San Francisco’s treasures that are a step or stroll away. Bring your walking shoes to get to know this intimate city. In YBG, we shall experience the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, rolling hills and babbling fountains, public art, and the sparkling surrounding environs.
Yerba Buena Gardens is the name for two blocks of public parks located between Third and Fourth, Mission and Folsom Streets in downtown San Francisco, California.
