Writing Pedagogy Workshops for faculty, March 8
The Division of Undergraduate Education and Academic Planning and Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines (WAC/WID) invite faculty to the second spring writing pedagogy workshop. On March 8th, Meg Gorzycki will present “Teaching students literature review skills” to be held Wednesday, March 8, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the Administration Building (ADM 153L). This session offers a hand-on exercise that can be integrated into lessons about writing research papers. Instructors will learn strategies to help students improve their literature reviews with critical reading and how to use formative assessments in the process. Lecturers will be paid for participating, and lunch will be served.
